How do I setup 2-factor authentication?

2FA drastically increases the security of your Betcoin account by using a time-based one time password (TOTP) which is required when you login to your account.

Betcoin makes use of 2 Factor Authentication through Google Authenticator. If you do not currently have it on your Android or iOS device you can download it for free from their app stores.

To set up 2FA on your account follow these 5 steps:

Download Google Authenticator App. You can get it for Android or iOS.

Sign in to Betcoin.ag and click the Settings tab on your dashboard. Select the Security & Privacy menu and check off the "Enable 2FA" box on the edit page.

Open your Google Authenticator App and create a new account for Betcoin by either:
a) scanning the barcode

b) entering the 16 digit secret key manually

Once the Autheticator App has added your Betcoin account, click Save at the bottom of the Edit page.

Congratulations! You now have 2 Factor Authentication enabled on your account.

When you sign in you will now include this "one time password" in addition to your regular password. Keep your phone handy since this one time password changes every 30 seconds. If at any time, you lose access to your device, please contact us and upon account verification, we can temporarily remove 2FA from your account.
